Please see below Press Release from the Hyundai Coupe Cup:
Our first new driver at next weekend's races at Brands Hatch needs no introduction for fans of the Ginetta Cars Junior and GT5 Challenge series.
Recently seen on the top step of the GT5 podium at Knockhill Racing Circuit during the BTCC event, Geri Nicosia will make his Coupe Cup debut in a Misty Racing car at the legendary Kent circuit.
It's been a while since Geri has been behind the wheel of a front wheel drive racing car but as a previous Fiesta Junior champion he shouldn't have too many issues getting to grips with the very forgiving Coupe.
After watching the previous Coupe Cup races from the grandstand at Donington Park, Geri is very excited to be joining the grid at Brands Hatch and we are sure he'll be challenging the front-runners after a few laps.
Geri said "We've bagged ourselves a drive in the Hyundai Coupe Cup next weekend at Brands Hatch! Haven't driven a front wheel drive car since winning The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship back in 2014, so this might be a bit of a challenge. First time in the car will be qualifying - can't wait!"

So here it is - our first "Ginetta related" announcement of the season.
We will be making our GT5 debut at Thruxton this weekend, in our brand new GT5 Challenge car!
The drive comes as part of a dual-entry into the championship for JHR Developments and will see Geri reunited with his 2016 teammate, Seb Perez.
"I cannot wait to get behind the wheel of our GT5 car, it's been an extended off-season for me so this weekend really can't come soon enough!" said Geri.
He continued, "As a team, JHR Developments are famous for having won in every single championship that's ever raced on the TOCA package. As this is the first time we've entered into the GT5 category, I'll be pushing as hard as I can to further that record."
With some new sponsors included, our awesome 2017 livery will be unveiled on Saturday, ahead of qualifying and the first race. Race two will be shown live on ITV4 on Sunday.
